Here are some older projects that I had worked on during our Interface design course with our instructor, Gagan Diesh.

For this project we needed to take a household item and study the interface. We needed to break it down in to sections of how we saw this object functioning as an interface. How usable is it? What are purely features, and what are there to serve the object’s main purpose?

We were given a website to redesign, and althrough I can’t seem to find the original website design (which was hilarious), this is what I had come up with. I can already see things I would change now, but overall I worked fairly hard on this assignment and was pleasantly surprised with the outcome.

For this assignment we were coming up with a set of icons that were to be used for a TV device, such as TiVo. The icons had to be legible, and still have a uniform style. Getting the message across about what each icon did was crucial. I struggled with this assignment, because the style tended to come through more so than the message.

Taking a class taught by Gagan was great, and I’m glad we were able to have him for one term before he left us. He really got us thinking outside of the box, and looking at the existing design around us and questioning it.

**NOTE** I realize that my images are all scaled down, and I will be changing this very soon to be using Lightbox.. planning on sexifying this design a little more! Thanks for the patience!
