That’s right, we painted that town red.. and many other colors.

On Tuesday the team gathered cardboard from around the school and we started creating our little town that will be shot on bluescreen this weekend. We built the quirkiest, strange, but funky town. We managed to get some really neat shapes cut out from the cardboard.

I’ll post the reference we had for the houses specifically from a magazine that was shown to us. I was able to take some photos today of our little project in the Luigi room.

Felt great to get down to doing things with our hands again. The only thing that wasn’t so pleasant was the outlining of the houses with the big jiffy markers.. we got major headaches. As you can see from the drawing.. others got something else from the markers :P We’re going in sometime on Saturday to film the town in the production studio. We’re going to need to get them right up close and taking up the full frame so we have more to work with when we bring them in with the footage of MCL.

Looking forward to more!
