Friday morning 8.30am - Bearpit

We arrive into the Bearpit.. of course, with a few stragglers. We were given a brief for a project slam that had to be finished and ready to be screened for just after 5pm. The basics of the brief were that we were hired to create a 30 seconds commercial for a vitamin company called Body Reach. The company had top sellers with several of their lines of products, but had a manufacturing mistake which led to the production of their ‘Mega-Dose Vitamin C’ containing no vitamin C whatsoever. Whoops! They had to recall all of them, and in turn lost a lot of their customers’ trust, and of course this was a big deal.

They wanted a commercial that would be light-hearted and somehow tell their customers, we’re sorry, or that we’re fixing it.. Kind of a big task, eh?

We were split into teams of 4-5. I was put in a team with Ivan, and Hugh from DD09, and Axel from my class. I was really impressed with how the team worked out. It was fun to see every team running around doing their own thing, and even more exciting to see what everyone produced at the end. It was a tight production, and things had to move quickly, but we made due.
